Sophos Wealth Management, LLC
Starr & Leaf professionals work with Sophos to meet the wealth management needs of our clients. Sophos is an investment advisory firm founded in the State of Washington. Launched in 2021, Sophos is a fee only advisor that acts as a fiduciary for clients.
Sophos believes in a comprehensive wealth management approach that utilizes advanced planning techniques combined with a disciplined value investing approach to help clients achieve their goals.
Sophos' licensed professionals work with the CPAs at Starr & Leaf to provide a carefully crafted approach to investment management, taxes, retirement planning, estate planning, cash flow optimization, equity compensation, charitable giving, and risk management.
Sophos searches for investments that may be unpopular at the time but trade at significant discounts to a conservative estimate of their intrinsic value. At various times that may mean searching for assets that appear cheap based on metrics such as normalized free cash flow, tangible book value, or future growth. The key is to adapt to the opportunities that the market may be giving at any particular time and focus on finding investments with a large margin of safety. If no attractive bargains present themselves, a longer time horizon gives an investor the ability to wait for better opportunities.
Sophos is an independent entity that is unrelated to Starr & Leaf, as investment advisory services require separate licenses. Together, we strive to provide clients with a virtual family office experience through our collaborative approach to advisory services.
